Redact-It Desktop is a simple desktop tool using patent-pending technology to intelligently remove
sensitive content and privacy
information from documents. Redact-It creates a
PDF or TIFF rendition of the redacted file,
leaving the source file untouched.
Using Redact-It Desktop is simple.
1. Perform initial redaction.
2. Review recommended redactions and modify if necessary.
3. Finalize redaction to new file for easy distribution.
Search for and redact words or phrases, or a list of words and phrases. Use complex expressions to
automatically redact all instances of a name, social security
number, birth date, phone number, account number and more. Or,
redact predefined block out zones on
common image document types. Redacted content is
actually removed in the output
file, not just covered, as is hidden document data
